We check your homepage to ensure that it has all the "tags" required to get you into the search engines. Much to my surprise when I started doing this, a considerable number of professionally designed sites do not have these tags including those produced by one company that specialises in sites for holiday accommodation. Without these tags, you will get nowhere in the search engines.

Includes the above but goes much further. This includes a review of the tags on all your pages, a review of how your site "looks" from the perspective of a search engine (eg how many inward links you have, etc.), and a review of the content of your site (eg is the text appropriate, are the photos suitable for the web, etc.).

Don't forget to quote your website and e-mail.

If you're hoping to attract customers from the UK, it's a distinct advantage to be able to quote a local rate number that they can use to call you. Using the link to the right you can get a UK 0844 number which gives your guests (and friends) a local rate phone number which you can redirect to a phone number anywhere in Europe at no cost to yourself or them.

If you are in an area which attracts Americans (eg near the Normandy beaches) or would just like to appear more American-friendly, why not get a 1-800 number for them to call you on? Calls are very cheap: a 15 minute call will cost you around $1.

As most of your guests are from overseas, it's always useful to offer them the means to pay in their own currency. To avoid the hassle of cashing international cheques you can accept credit/debit card payments via paypal.
