Quarrytown Lodge is just a short drive to the numerous times award-winning village of Broughshane which has "The Thatch" popular pub/restaurant (visited by Prince Charles). Also convenient to Ballymena which has many excellent restaurants and hotels for good food.

Attractions

Slemish Mountain, Broughshane, where our patron Saint Patrick herded swine and sheep and reputedly brought christianity to Ireland. The nine Glens of Antrim, which includes Glenariff, the Queen of the Glens, with the forest park and various walkways through the forest with beautiful waterfalls and scenery right down to the coast road and seafront.
