Situated on Lough Derg on the river Shannon,Coolangatta is a timber and brick home with magnificient view of lake and surrounding countryside.Accommodation includes three bedrooms with private bathroom,diningroom overlooking the lake with tea & coffee making facilities,seperate lounge with TV.and spacious gardens.Coolangatta is an ideal haven for walking ,cycling,fishing and other water sports.Mary your hostess has won awards for her hospitality and also teaches Irish folk dances to interested parties.We hold an Irish Night of music ,song and dance every friday evening thru the summer.Admission free.
Mary organises a tour of the local historical sites.

There are 2 double rooms with ensuite ,1 family room and 1 single.
Diningroom and lounge.

Attractions

A first class restaurant within walking distance.3 golf coarses nearby.boating,3 local castles and a monastic ruins.Mary is also a tour guide and can take you to these places. Lots of bogs with their varied flora and fauna.

Every friday night we run an Irish Night with music ,song and dance in the local hall.

Coming from Dublin or Shannon on the N7 ,turn off at Nenagh and take the N52 towards Borrisokane,About 1 mile out (after roundabout) turn left on to R493 and it will take you all the way to us.We are 12miles from Nenagh.
