David and Marianne Wilkinson welcome you to Mas Pomona, their refurbished 17th century Provençal farmhouse set amid apple orchards in the Lubéron National Park near Cheval Blanc. We offer five spacious en suite double bedrooms, two with their own terraces. Laze around in the sunshine by the 15 metre swimming pool. Sample Provencal cuisine at the village’s two restaurants. Or use us as a base – Avignon, Aix, St Remy and countless lovely hill villages, such as Gordes, Menerbes and Lourmarin, are all within easy reach. There’s hiking and mountain biking in the mountains, fishing along the Sorgues river, tennis in the village and golf at plenty of fine local courses. Easy to get to: Nimes (Ryanair), 50 minutes; Marseilles (BA & Easyjet) 45 minutes; Avignon (TGV) 30 minutes; or the A7 autoroute, Cavaillon exit, 12 minutes. |
