Le Vieux Presbytere, a 400 year old colombage house, is located in the Gers, a special area of France yet to be over-run by tourism. The property is on the edge of a small hamlet surrounded by vineyards, fields of sunflowers and views to the Pyrenees. The B & B is part of the main house, with private entrance, overlooking the pretty gardens and pool. It has been simply, but tastefully converted and furnished and has a luxury bathroom with Victorian bath and walk-in monsoon shower. Breakfast is served either in the garden or in the sitting area inside and dinner is available on request. |

Great historal interest in this part of France, fascinating little bastide villages where the 4 Musketeers ruled. Daily markets in villages nearby. Good, very reasonable restaurants, friendly people and a slow relaxing pace of life. Perfect for a stress free holiday. |
