	Want a base offering all the comfort and convenience of a town, yet within minutes of the countryside and stunning scenery of the Pyrenees? Our 19th century townhouse is the ideal choice. The house has been sympathetically restored to provide you with all modern comforts, yet retains all the charm of a bye-gone era. With superb views of Mount Canigou, relax in our large mature garden or on the patio, in the shade of the wisteria blossoms. The town with its weekly bustling market, cafes and restaurants is less than 500 metres walk, so you can sample the delicious Catalan cuisine and local wines, without having to worry about driving. We have private, secure parking for all guests. Your Irish hosts, Sharon and Declan O'Kane will provide you with a warm welcome you all year round, and wish you a very pleasant stay in this beautiful region.
	All our rooms are large, with high ceilings, original fireplaces and floorboards, and lovely views to the rear of the garden and Mount Canigou, the sacred mountain of Catalunya. Each room has heating, private en-suite shower/bathroom, and French television. The Terrace suite, with its private sun-room and terrace overlooking Mount Canigou will appeal to the romantic in all of us, while the family suite, with two adjoining bedrooms and large bathroom is ideal for Mum and Dad to enjoy some privacy, but know the family is safe next door.
	In summer, have a relaxing breakfast on the wisteria-clad patio, perhaps returning later with a book and a cool drink after a great day.
	Attractions Visit the villages of Eus, Mosset and Evol, officially classified as some of the most beautiful in France. The nearby village of Villefranche-de Conflent is now an official UNESCO site. Why not take a picnic and go for a walk in the hills surrounding these idyllic spots. Spring and Autumn are ideal for walking, and the scenery will delight you. The beautiful Mediterranean beaches around Perpignan are approximately 45 minutes drive away, likewise the ski-slopes of the Pyrenees.

	Maison 225 225 Avenue du General de Gaulle Prades 66500 Pyrenees Orientales From Perpignan, follow signs for Andorre. At the roundabout at the entrance to Prades, follow Centre-ville. Continue along this road (Avenue du General de Gaulle) until you reach the give-way junction (cedez-passage). We are just after this junction, on the left. From Andorra and the mountains, follow the signs for Perpignan. Take the first sign-post on your right to Prades. When you come to the give-way sign (cedez passage) we are just after this, on the right.
