A small hamlet, La Pène,in the popular rolling hills of du Razés.

From the south-facing terrace, there is a wonderful view of the garden and the village lake. There you will find tables and chairs, where we will serve your meals, if it’s not too hot!

For sun lovers, there are sun beds around the pool. In the middle of the pool, which is 1m 35 deep,there is an island with a palm tree.

There are five ensuite bedrooms which are air-conditioned.

Bedroom 1
One double bed 140x190, 2 chairs and a table, chest of drawers, coat hangers, bathroom with shower. It is possible to have an extra bed for a child.

Bedroom 2
One double bed 140x190 , one extra bed/sofa, 2 chairs and a table, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bathroom with shower. It is possible to have an extra bed for a child.

Bedroom 3
One double bed 140x190, 1chair, wardrobe. Bathroom with shower.
It is possible to have a cot.

Bedroom 4
Twin beds 90x200 and a convertible sofa (sleeping space140x190), it is possible to have another child bed or cot. chest of drawers, wardrobe, bathroom with bathtub.

Bedroom 5
Twin beds 90x190 and a bunk bed 90x200, 2 chairs, chest of drawers, coathangers, bathroom with shower.

Entrance hall and mezzanine with access to all the bedrooms.
There are two sitting rooms with comfortable seating, one with fireplace with an insert the other is prepared for kids with toys and games, big table for drawing and playing. Television with DVD/video player and some films. There is a dining room with a large table, seating up to sixteen people comfortably.

If you'de like to rent it as a selfcatering property, there is a grand fully equipped kitchen.

The south-facing garden is well stocked with lavender, palms, olive trees and other mediterranean plants; one pond; and plenty of space to enjoy a leisurely stroll or just to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

The house overlooks a lake which is well stocked with fish, including carp, only two minutes walk from the house. If you prefer other sports, we also have a petanque pitch.

For a longer walk there are a lot of footpaths in the farmland and forests around us. If you wish, and the weather and time allows we would love to take you hacking with the horses.

Maison Tranquille is situated on the edge of a quiet hamlet, 7 km from the circular village Alaigne,15 km from the Market town Mirepoix, 30 km from the Medieval town of Carcassonne, and 20 km from Limoux. 1h15 from the beach and ski resort.

For 2 persons in double room:
Bed and breakfast:75€, one week:420€
Half board: 125€, one week: 770€

Extra bed per night, including breakfast:
€ 20 for one night, €15 per night for more than 2 days.

We are open all year around, at reservation we would like 25% deposit wich can be transferd to our bank or if you like to pay through paypal with your creditcard. At arrival the rest can be paid with a french cheuqe or euros or you mey pay the rest with credit card through paypal before you arrive.
