	Chalet de Bonheur is an owner run ski chalet set in the mountain ski resort of Formigueres, close to lakes and vtt (mountain bike) trails. We have comfortable spacious rooms comprising of a family suite, twins and doubles, taking a maximum of eight guests. We also offer a self catering apartment sleeping upto 4 guests. We offer a winter ski package including transfers, a bubbly reception, wholesome continental breakfasts, afternoon teas and four course evening meals with wine, b+b, half board and self catering. Outside the ski season we run catered self guided walking weeks. Every day enjoy around a 12km hike with a lunchtime stop at a different mountain lake. We also run action packed adventure weeks In just one week you can go - white water rafting, canyoning, enjoy a high wire agility course, try via feratta,horse riding, mountain biking, mountain hiking and then relax in the outdoor thermal pools.
	Our four spacious bedrooms are light and airy and come with fresh linen and a set of towels. We have a family suite, doubles and twin rooms available too. A self catering apartment is available for upto 4.
	Our delicious meals are homemade using local produce as far as possible, and taken in our comfortable dining room. A typical evening meal A starter of Homemade Garlic Chicken Liver Pate and freshly baked bread, followed by a main course of Beef Bourguignon served with fresh seasonal vegetables, a dessert of Rich Chocolate Mud Pie, a selection of cheeses, fine local wine and coffee.
	Attractions Indulge in as many or as few activities as you wish from skiing to snowboarding, nordic skiing to snow shoeing, mountain biking, riding, lake sailing, canoeing, husky sledding, climbing to fishing or purely sight seeing and tasting the local delights of the area.
	Our special winter packages include Perpignan transfers, a champagne reception, half board and ski safaris,starting from £40 per person per night, our detailed package prices are on our website. 	From Perpignan take the D116 towards Andorra, pass Prades then the road starts up the mountains. Wind your way up, it is very scenic, all the way to Mont Louis where you come to a roundabout. Take the right turn to another roundabout take the right turn the D118 towards Les Angles, Formigueres. Go about fifteen minutes until you get to Formigueres village. There is a hotel called La Tutte on the left, go 200 m past the hotel and turn right towards REAL, this is before the village square and church. Take the first right (small side roads to houses) opposite the tennis courts, go 100m up the slope and take the first left and we are just past the house with the pool on the right.
