Within walking distance of the historical village of Ardstraw, the property is a large recently converted Old School House and combines historical richness with a range of modern accommodation maintained to the highest standard in keeping with the property's traditional character. Whether you want an action packed adventure break, or a relaxing holiday in a scenically rural location, Derg View House can accommodate your needs, and tailor your break accordingly.

Derg View House is Northern Ireland Tourist Board approved and offers five beautifully decorated, bright and airy bedrooms with a total of 16 bed spaces to accommodate the needs of family parties, small groups, single travellers, and couples. Depending on the size of the party, guests can have the option of B&B accommodation or the flexibility of using the entire house in a self catering capacity to allow freedom to have a home from home holiday or short break experience.

Derg View House exudes brightness and warmth, and has wooden floors throughout harnessing the rich character of the former School House. The property is fully centrally heated complimented by open fires burning either wood/coal. A complimentary starter pack of basic groceries is included on arrival for self-catering guests and towels and bedding are provided. Guided Walking Tours, Cycling and Angling can be arranged, in an area renowned for its natural assets.

Derg View House has developed a unique partnership with Adventure Tours Northern Ireland, a company specialising in special interest activity breaks, operating from an adjoining School House property. In association with Adventure Tours NI, Derg View House can offer a wide choice of activities including orienteering, corporate team building task, climbing, canoeing, archery, golf, horse riding, banana boating, clubbing, karting, quad-biking, pampering, parachuting, fishing, rally driving, paint-balling and many more. This adjoining property offers further accommodation with two large en-suite bedrooms sleeping 6 - 8 people, double/twin and bunk bedrooms, full equipped kitchen/dining area, and three reception rooms - all tailored to group needs.

These facilities are complimented by a recently extended on-site conference/training/seminar suite, outdoor hot tub, and garden area with seating and BBQ. Activity breaks arranged by Derg View House are specifically designed for tourists, hen and stag, corporate groups, voluntary/ community groups and parties.
