Marina di Patti is situated in a tranquill gulf of crystal clear water, surrounded by beautiful mountainous countryside. The gulf is a warm and safe community of friendly people in a small center of fishing, boating, swimming, and water sports. Nearby, from the hills above down to the sea, there is hang gliding. The principal centre is Patti (15.000 inhabitants) with has a beautiful norman Cathedral and typical medioeval streets in the ancient part of it. Patti Marina is a very attractive place both for the beauty of its landscape and for its history- In front of it is possible to see and visit the marvellous Aeolian Islands with Lipari, which is the largest island of the Archepelago and then Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Filicudi ad Alicudi. It is also an important archeological centre. Local points of interest -archeological: (300 mt) a newly discovered site, "Villa Romana", IV Century AD, with mosiacs. Tindari (9 Km ) is a Greco-Roman archaeological site with an ancient Greek theatre (still showing classic performances from May through August) basilica, insulae, terme, antiquarium; and also the most recent discovery, an ancient street "il decumano." The Black Madonna resides in Tindari's church and one of the best local restaurants with great ambience (and not too costly) is there overlooking the sea. Below is a nature reserve sanctuary (Laghetti di Marinello) of salt water lakes, visitable by day. It is also possible to make excursions into the wood in the near Nebrodi Regional Park. In the immediate area there are several local bars serving good coffee, drinks, gelati and granita; restaurants, pizzarias, gelaterias, groceries, pasticerias (fresh breads and sweets.) Also there are three Lidos (outside bar-disco on the beach)in the gulf, and two discotech (1 Km and 500 mt.)

20% deposit at the time of booking and the payment of the balance will be due on arrival - cash preferred. We do accept payments in Euros. Payment can be made by direct deposit or money order. The prices are inclusive bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Costs for the air conditioning system are not inclusive and to pay after consumption on the spot. Baby cot available on request gratis (free). Domestic animals are not allowed.
The acceptable arrival times for this property are :
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM , the check out 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM .
A breakage deposit of 100 Euro will be requested upon arrival. The breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro). The client shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client breaks or damages anything in Casa , Casa must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
Although the rental price includes final cleaning, the holiday-maker is responsible to leave the property clean and tidy and to remove the rubbish in the appropriate containers. If this has not been done, the owner or his/her representative is obliged to charge on the spot an additional expenses necessary for cleaning the property.

Palermo airport 180km - Take Highway A20 Palermo - Messina and thenToll exit Patti. The apartment is 3 km away, 5 min by car, in the center of Marina di Patti Via Marco Polo 81.
Catania airport 160km - Take Autobahn Catania - Messina and then Messina - Palermo and then Toll exit Patti. The property is 1km from the railway station of Patti.
DIRECTIONS TO FOLLOW:
From PALERMO Km 180; Highway A20 Palermo-Messina .Toll exit Patti. Afterwards the exit drive along the slip road for 3 km in the direction of Palermo. At the crossroads, after a bend, drive straight in the direction of Patti Marina.
From CATANIA Km 160; Highway A18 Catania-Messina. Keep on driving in the direction of Palermo entering the Highway A20 Messina-Palermo. Toll exit Patti. Afterwards the exit drive along the slip road for 3 km in the direction of Palermo. At the crossroads, after a bend, drive straight in the direction of Patti Marina.
Lamezia airport is just 1 hour drive from the ferry at Villa San Giovanni, from where ferries leave every 15 minutes for Messina. The crossing takes less than 1/2 hour. This makes Lamezia an interesting alternative, particularly for people visiting the East of Sicily.
