Affectionately known as ‘Le Petit Chateau des Anglais’, Domaine de France is an ideal base from which to discover Aquitaine & to enjoy its rich mix of heritage, culture & gastronomy.

Domaine de France has self catering accommodation for 12 – 15 people in the restored stone barn.All 3 units are interconnected enabling a group, an extended family or two families to holiday together. There are 5 bedrooms plus mezzanine areas, 3 bathrooms and 3 fully equipped kitchens. An outside terraced eating area, a covered terrace, a large games room and a large swimming pool are available to guests.

Attractions

From Penne d’Agenais, Lot et Garonne, you have easy access to:

- sample a wide range of different wines from Bordeaux, Bergerac, Buzet to Cahors,

- enjoy the famous gastronomy of this region, notably foie gras, ‘confit’ or ‘magret’ of duck, pruneaux d’Agen as well as a huge range of fruit & vegetables,

- ‘destress’ in this quiet but accessible part of France,

- search for property,

- immerse in ‘rural french culture’,

- visit some of the famous historical sites of S W France – the beautiful medieval ‘bastide villages’ (such as Penne); chateaux such as Montbazillac, Beynac, Biron, Bonaguil; the cloisters at Moissac, the cities of Agen, Toulouse and, of course, Bordeaux.
With advance warning, activities such as cookery demonstrations, wine tasting and, guided village tours can be arranged.

2009 Tariffs for exclusive use of rental space and all facilities at Domaine de France:Mid Season (June and September) – 2500€ per week; High Season (July and August) – 3500€ per week.(Booking must be before March 2009 to ensure exclusivity) contact us for other tarifs.
