	Les Palombes 33680 Lacanau Océan Nearest town: Lacanau Océan, Bordeaux, Arcachon.
	No 36 Les Palombes is a 3 bedroom house on a pedestrianised complex with a living area and kitchenette, downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom with shower, outdoors we have a fenced patio garden with gas BBQ. There is a secured communal swimming pool. Set amongst the forests of maritime pines which reach down to the seashore, Lacanau Océan boasts a range of activities. Cycle paths weave through the forests. There is an International Golf Course and a 9 hole course. A choice of water sports on Lacanau lac. You can do plenty of walking or horse riding taking in the flora and fauna. Surfing is big in Lacanau Océan, with the town hosting a leg of the ASP world tour during August. Les Palombes is an excellent base to explore the Medoc vineyards on the Gironde estuary. The beautiful City of Bordeaux bursting with history and culture is only 40mins away and the centre can easily be reached by tram. Lacanau Océan truly is a place where there is something for everyone.
	Lacanau Océan has a weekly market held in the town on a Wednesday. It sells fine selection of wines, meats, cheese, breads and croissants to clothes, jewellery,pottery and lots more. You will find a good choice of restaurants, highly recommended is a sunset dinner at Le Kayoc with uninterrupted sea views.
	Attractions Not far away is the Dune de Pilat, europe's tallest dune at 104 metres high and stretches for 2.7 km. A hard climb to the top but made easier by steps, it is well worth the effort, the 360 degree views are magnificent.

Booking	We will provisionally book the dates required and send to you a booking form with booking conditions asking for a deposit of £100 non refundable plus 25% of the holiday costs plus £100 refundable security/cleaning deposit. Once we have received the deposit and the signed booking form is either posted back or faxed back we will then confirm the booking.
